Gas and electric utility rate reductions range from 3-60%, depending upon the company's usage. The rate reduction is offered for a ten year period from the date the discount is accessed and is available to any and all commercial, retail and industrial establishments. Additionally, Bell Atlantic offers a 5% discount to EZ certified businesses. In order to qualify for this benefit, the certified business is required to send a copy of its EZ certificate and a notarized letter stating that it plans to increase its zone investment and/or workforce.
